Foundation Phase
Financial Fundamentals for Communicators
You'll start by understanding what financial statements actually mean. Not accounting theory—practical interpretation. Cash flow versus profit. Working capital decisions. Budget implications. The goal is reading financials without needing someone to explain them.
Months 1-4
Development Phase
Strategic Communication in Financial Contexts
Here's where it gets interesting. Presenting budget proposals to skeptical boards. Explaining financial performance to diverse stakeholders. Crisis communication when numbers go wrong. You'll practice these scenarios with mentors who've navigated them professionally.
Months 5-10
Application Phase
Integrated Leadership Project
Your capstone involves partnering with one of our business collaborators on an actual challenge. Previous projects included restructuring internal financial reporting, developing stakeholder communication frameworks, and creating transparent financial dashboards.
Months 11-18
Learn From Practitioners
Our teaching team consists of professionals who currently work in financial communication roles. They bring current challenges, recent examples, and networks that actually matter.

Marcus Chen
Financial Strategy Consultant
Spent 14 years at KPMG before moving into advisory work. Marcus specializes in making complex financial structures understandable to non-financial audiences. He's taught variations of this content since 2019.

Priya Sharma
Communications Director
Priya runs communications for a mid-sized manufacturing company with operations across three states. Her practical experience includes financial reporting, investor relations, and internal transparency initiatives—all of which inform her teaching approach.

Dylan Barrett
CFO & Strategic Advisor
Dylan's been through three major business transitions as CFO. He knows what boards actually care about versus what they claim to care about. His sessions focus on presentation skills and stakeholder management.

Elena Foster
Risk Communication Specialist
After working in financial risk assessment, Elena now helps organizations communicate financial uncertainty honestly. She's particularly good at teaching people how to discuss difficult financial situations without creating panic.
Application Process & Timeline
We're accepting applications for two intakes in 2025. The process takes about six weeks from initial application to final decision, and we limit cohorts to 24 participants.
Initial Application
Submit your background, relevant experience, and motivation. We're looking for professionals with at least three years working in finance, communication, or related fields.
